Must be extremely organized, proficient at setups, troubleshooting, material removal techniques using small tools in small, tight-tolerance parts. Standard drawing tolerances are +-.002 or less. These parts / components are critical to our National Defense industry and we have orders of the a family of parts that will run for at least the next 16 months. We set parts up to run on rotary tables and pallet machines. These are challenging parts that require attention to detail and close quality management.
We are only seeking candidates that can fit themselves into and work well with a team, as a team player. We are a small, tight-knit group of machinists that work well, making fine parts and working with minimal oversight. You will be accountable for quality and you must try to meet daily production standards. The cycle times are long, allowing the management of multiple projects at a time. The team we have does it all day everyday and so can you.
