Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a skilled Crate Builder for a reputable client in Phoenix, Arizona. Our client specializes in manufacturing custom heat exchanger coils, fluid coolers, and remote air-cooled condensers for both OEM and replacement markets.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assemble boxes, skids, crates, or platforms used for the secure shipping of equipment and machine parts.
Construct and prepare bracing, padding, and other supports to ensure safe transportation of products.
Measure and cut materials according to specifications.
Operate basic hand tools and machinery, including staple/nail guns and saws, to complete projects efficiently.
Ensure all crates meet quality and safety standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience or similar role.
Forklift experience is preferred.
Proficient in reading and using a tape measure with precision.
Experience operating staple/nail guns and other hand tools.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.
Must pass a background check and drug screen.
Must able to read the tape measure.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
