Job Summary: We are seeking a detail oriented Deburr Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finishing and smoothing metal and other material surfaces by removing burrs, sharp edges, or rough spots resulting from the machining process. This role is essential to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform deburring operations using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment (e.g., files, grinders, sanders, or brushes).
Inspect parts for burrs, imperfections, or defects to ensure they meet quality standards.
Utilize blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine specifications and finishing requirements.
Handle materials carefully to avoid damage during the deburring process.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation and follow all safety protocols.
Collaborate with machinists and quality control personnel to address any identified issues.
Record and document completed work as per company guidelines.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in manufacturing or machining is a plus.
Experience with deburring, finishing, or similar tasks in a manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Basic knowledge of tools, machines, and safety practices in a manufacturing setting.
Physical stamina and manual dexterity to handle repetitive tasks and lift materials when necessary.
