We are seeking an Estimator to become part of our expanding fabrication company. A background in steel, metal fabrication, or manufacturing is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate!
Regular working hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze and interpret drawings and specifications to develop and swiftly submit accurate and competitive fabrication estimates.
Communicate scope and pricing clearly to customers via proposals, calls, and emails.
Pursue and follow up on submitted bids to secure work.
Manage all bidding documents and maintain organized records.
Review customer drawings, specifications, and related documents to identify material, generate estimates, and labor.
Request pricing from material suppliers.
Candidates must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling them to effectively convey bid inclusions, exclusions, and proposal clarifications to owners and subcontractors.
