Overview
We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining 30K forklift material handling, building loads and facilitating efficiency of material throughout the yard. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
Responsibilities
Operate 30K forklift, build loads, load trucks for shipping.
Receive material - off load trucks efficiently and check receiver for accuracy
Utilize pallets and other management tools to assist in loading and unloading goods.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and adherence to OSHA regulations.
Assist with equipment repair as needed, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet schedules.
Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and assist in inventory management tasks.
Experience
Previous experience operating forklifts or heavy equipment.
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to forklift operation is essential.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols consistently.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
