Madden Industrial Craftsmen is a premier staffing firm currently seeking a dedicated Production Painter for one of our clients in Phoenix, AZ. The client is a manufacturing company specializing in complex masking and screen printing.
Pay Rate: $20-$30/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Perform military and industrial paint finishing with a focus on CARC (Chemical Agent Resistant Coating).
Maximize efficiency using assigned resources in the daily manufacturing process.
Follow all safety policies and procedures, both in-house and regulatory.
Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping throughout the painting process.
Maintain open lines of communication between employees, management, and customers.
Ensure all resources and assets are used efficiently and correctly.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Minimum of 3 years of industrial painting experience (not house painting).
Experience with CARC (Chemical Agent Resistant Coating) preferred.
Knowledge of mixing, textures, and gloss for part finishing preferred.
Ability to stand for long periods and carry loads of up to 20 lbs. is necessary.
Preferred Experience with:
Mechanical mixers
Stopwatches
Paint guns
Zahn cups
Volume containers and ratio measurements
Quality standards such as NADCAP, AMS, SAE, Military, ISO, AS9100
Sectors including Aerospace, Medical, Semiconductor
Techniques like HVLP, Grit Blast, Chemfilm, Iron Phosphate, Zinc Rich Primer, Epoxy, Polyurethane
Finishing aspects such as Texture, Gloss, Adhesion, Thickness
