About Us:
We are a rapidly growing precision machine shop that specializes in aerospace and high-performance manufacturing. Our company is transitioning from prototype work to full-scale production, with multiple long-term contracts in place. We’re building a quality function to keep up with growth and need someone who can help us stay organized, compliant, and scalable.
What You’ll Do:
Review digital travelers, inspection sheets, and ERP job records to ensure everything is signed, documented, and compliant.
Verify calibration logs and incoming material certifications (DFARS/USA compliance).
Work with engineering to create inspection plans and bubble prints using inspection software.
Prepare AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI) reports (training provided on Ground Control software).
Support first article and production inspections (hands-on as needed).
Help plan and implement in-house inspection capabilities.
Be onsite 1–2 days per week for new part launches and final inspections; the rest of the work can be done remotely.
What We’re Looking For:
Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with machining or manufacturing processes.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Experience with AS9100 or ISO9001 quality systems.
Comfort working with digital tools (SharePoint, ERP, inspection bubbling software).
Self-starter who can work independently and ensure all quality steps are completed.
