Local food manufacturing company looking for a Material Handler/Batcher to move, deliver, and store raw materials & finished goods in Production or Warehouse areas.
Job Scope:
As a Material Batcher you will be pulling all necessary ingredients from warehouse & weighing materials to create products shown on BOM. Responsibilities include ensuring ingredients and materials have been properly stored while maintaining accurate inventories of all materials.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Receiving and putting finished goods away daily
Determines what materials or containers need to be moved into production
Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, racks, or staging areas
Pulling all stock and raw materials for the production department
Counting inventory and record in Syspro system daily
Attaches bin number & rack number of materials for recording purposes.
Records transactions in Syspro System daily to ensure accurate inventory of material
Daily cleaning of Warehouse & Cooler area’s
Skills & Abilities:
Must be organized and be able to pay attention to the details of the position
Must be able to read and write English
Follow work orders & oral instruction
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must be able to work standing on feet entire shift
Must be a skilled operator on stand-up reach forklifts.
Fork lift certification a plus
SQF knowledge a plus
