East Valley Precision is currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our team.
East Valley Precision is located off Chandler Blvd and McClintock in Chandler AZ.
At East Valley Precision, we specialize in prototype and production work with quick turnaround times.
We are currently seeking individuals with the following qualifications.
Must have 5 years' minimum Inspection experience in the machining industry.
Must be able to program and operate Zeiss CMM with calypso software.
Micro-Vu VCMM experience is a plus.
Must have Knowledge of Quality Control inspection techniques.
Must have experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Control management a must.
Must have experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
Proficient computer and math skills
Must have reliable transportation.
Must have excellent attendance.
Must be self-motivated and team player.
Must be able to follow instructions.
Good mechanical aptitude.
Job Duties
Perform First Article, In-Process and Final Inspections. Assure highest quality of finished product delivered to customer.
Perform Receiving Inspections (raw materials, hardware and outside processing).
Perform all levels of inspection using CMM as well as inspection hand tools including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, etc.
Organize work load to meet shipping deadlines as indicated by customer.
Communicate required adjustments to machine operators and shop supervisor/lead.
Accurately document inspection results on routers, reports and logs.
Maintain open communication with operators, finishers and supervisor.
HIGHEST DEGREE OF ACCURACY IS A MUST
This is a Full Time Position, Days only from 7:00am to 3:30pm with overtime as required.
