Overview: Join our team at GoodFibers, a leading manufacturer of wipes and cleaning products. We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience to oversee our production operations across multiple shifts. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to ensuring the production of quality products at the lowest possible cost while upholding production standards, safety protocols, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Ensure production of high-quality products at the lowest cost by adhering to production standards and procedures.
Supervise and manage a team of 20 plus employees across various shifts, ensuring efficient production operations
and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Assign and execute daily and weekly production schedules to meet demand and optimize efficiency.
Drive a safety culture within the plant by assisting the Plant Manager and Maintenance Manager in prioritizing
safety programs.
Collaborate closely with mechanics to minimize downtime by scheduling special assignments, assisting during
breakdowns, and proactively managing preventive maintenance (PM) schedules.
Plan, communicate, and monitor raw material needs based on production demands.
Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and housekeeping procedures throughout the plant to
maintain inspection readiness.
Assist in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production activities and lead meetings as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or
leadership role.
Proven track record in production management, emphasizing quality, cost, and efficiency improvements.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop a team of production employees.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels
of the organization.
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and make data-driven decisions.
Knowledge of safety protocols and experience driving a safety culture within a manufacturing setting.
Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and housekeeping standards.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
High school diploma or equivalent required; further education or certifications in a related field preferred.
