East Valley Manufacturer in Gilbert looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Inspector capable of inspecting Sheet Metal and CNC machined parts using hand tools and related documents in a production environment.
This position skill sets are based on a Sheet Metal and CNC Machining background, GD&T Principles and Practices. ISO9001/AS9100D Quality Management Systems First Article Inspection.
This position ensures product conformity by evaluating product to customer and/or specifications and related documents. Conducts receiving, in-process and final product inspections, and documents results in Quality Plans in the Quality Drive.
Performs inspections, as well as In-Process and Final inspections of parts and assemblies in accordance with applicable documents, drawings and workmanship standards.
Performs inspections using Precision Measurement equipment/devices.
Ensures proper operation of measurement equipment by following operating instructions.
Able to communicate non-conformity found during inspections to Supervisors and/or production personnel.
Must have excellent Blueprint reading/interpreting ability.
Extensive knowledge of common inspection measuring equipment including, surface plates, micrometers, height gauges, radius gauges, bore gauges, and dial indicator. Good manual dexterity and adept in use of precision measuring tools.
Knowledge of ISO9001/AS9100D Quality Management Systems; working knowledge of First Article Inspection requirements per AS9102
Proficient in Microsoft/Libre Office suite of tools, Specifically Excel and Word.
Must possess appropriate mathematical and analytical skills to determine acceptability of product(s) based on established criteria.
