Immediate opening for an aggressive Shear Operator. We are looking for a self-motivated team player for young fast-growing company. Qualified candidates must have knowledge of the metal fabrication and welding industry.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Minimum 1-year experience in the metal fabrication industry
Experience setting up and running Shear
Knowledge of tool selection based on the part being manufactured.
Knowledge of calculating sizes using material bend allowance
Ability to read & understand design drawings
Able to inspect using calipers, height gauge, square and tape measure.
Knowledge of fraction decimal equivalents. Ex ΒΌ=.250, 5/8=.625
Must be able to hold high-tolerances on all work.
Must be able to work with a minimum level of supervision.
Experience driving forklift.
