Madden Industrial Craftsmen, a premier staffing agency, is currently seeking a Scale Operator for a leading recycling company in Phoenix, AZ. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented and comfortable with computer-based systems in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Pay Rate: $16–$19/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Job Summary:
The Scale Operator will be responsible for operating a computer-supported commercial truck scale using RIMAS Scale Software. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate recording of incoming and outgoing loads while maintaining basic office and clerical functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate commercial truck scale using RIMAS software
Accurately record truck weights, load details, and transaction information
Communicate effectively with truck drivers and onsite personnel
Perform general clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, and answering phones
Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with site procedures
Qualifications:
Previous experience with RIMAS software preferred, but not required
Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to follow standard office procedures and maintain records
Prior experience in an industrial or recycling environment is a plus
