GROUP HOME YOUTH WORKER (TEEN GIRLS)

Currently seeking staff available for immediate hire. Please respond with schedule availability and preferred start date. All hours available but would prefer candidates with desire to work 12 hour shifts on evenings, weekends or overnights. Please specify what shift you are most interested in.
The night shift mainly consists of deep cleaning and supervision to avoid crisis situations. Weekend day shift will involve a lot of supervision out in the community so teen behavior management is critical. We have up to 10 teen girls in our home.
A group home for teen girls in foster care is in search of quality direct care staff. Seeking individuals who want to make a positive impact in our community. Staff will be responsible for caring for the basic needs of all clients including but not limited to the following:
1. Making Meals & grocery shopping
2. Preparing and administering medication
3. Documenting progress and incidents
4. Transporting to school and other appointments
5. Scheduling & home routine
6. Cleaning the facility
7. Discipline
Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years working with children or an associates degree in a human services field. Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills as their is daily interaction with DCS, clients and other employees. It is essential to have reliable transportation to get to and from work but a company vehicle will be provided at the facility for outings and appointments.
The following are required prior to employment:
1. Valid level one fingerprint clearance card
2. Driver's license and clean 36 month driving record
3. Willingness to complete drug screening
4. Background Check
5. CPR & first aide
