Position Overview: Assistance Office Manager

Verde Valley Landscaping/ Verde Valley Nursery are two well-established landscape and retail companies located in Fountain Hills. We want somebody to mesh well with our team, so we’re looking for a responsible person with a positive attitude. We need a self-motivated “can do” person to join our office team. Must be reliable and must be able to work 8am-4pm weekdays no exception. Must be able to multi task and work well under pressure.

Experience:

At least 1-2 years of office admin work

Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs / Quickbooks a must

Responsibilities for both companies

Handle incoming calls, provide general information.

Daily interaction with clients/contractors, partners and team mates.

Perform HR duties and invoicing in QuickBooks.

Accounts payable / Accounts receivables / Payroll

Set up and keep current profiles for customers, vendors, and subcontractors.

Work with project team to ensure client objectives are met or exceeded.

Support field team and assist with project schedules.

Maintain customer and project databases.

E-mails to clients with questions and/or issues on a daily basis.

Order entry with minimal error

Resolve any customer concerns as necessary.

Will help maintain schedules, for both in-house workers and sub-contractors.

Will assist in inventory tracking and ordering

Manage outside employees and attend to customers request

Learn and Become knowledgeable in plants/trees and flowers (training will be available)

Skills & Qualifications:

MUST BE BILINGUAL - Spanish and English

Reliable, self-starter with a great work ethic.

Excellent communication, organizational skills, problem solver, detail oriented with ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.

Enjoy finding creative solutions to challenges.

Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently, and work within deadlines.

Excellent verbal and written skills.

- Willing to take this job seriously as it is very demanding yet rewarding.

Must be able to meet all state and federal employment requirements as well as background screenings when and if required.
