Job Brief
We are seeking a self-starting, problem solving and detail-oriented individual to support the Community Activation Team with day-to-day logistics and administrative work.

Responsibilities:
Coordinate and support logistics for events, meetings, and community programs.
Maintain and organize event storage space, ensuring inventory is up to date.
Handle correspondence for event staffers in a professional manner.
Support the team with various administrative tasks, such as workshop preparation, event
management platform maintenance and other duties as assigned.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
Anticipate upcoming needs for Community Activation Team and staff events when needed.
Assist in the planning and staffing of events as needed.
Qualifications:
Two or more years of related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional education or certification in administration or logistics is a plus.
Proven experience in an administrative or logistics role.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Problem solver and detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Additional Information
This is a part time, in office position. 40 hours a week September - May and 20 hours a week June - August. Opportunity for over time.
Ability to perform under pressure, manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Due to the nature of these responsibilities, flexibility is essential for irregular workdays/hours per calendar week.
