Full-Time AP/AR/ HR Manager

Responsibilities & Duties

As a key team member, you will oversee a wide range of responsibilities, including:

Accounts Payable & Receivable (AP/AR):

Processing accounts payable invoices accurately and promptly.

Setting up new vendors and maintaining billing documentation.

Reconciling vendor statements and addressing discrepancies.

Entering monthly billing information and processing invoices.

Managing cash applications, payment processing, and resolving payment disputes.

Overseeing A/R collections and managing lien waiver requests.

Human Resources (HR):

Managing recruitment, employee relations, and performance evaluations.

Handling compensation, benefits, and training programs.

Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and maintaining employee records.

Driving employee engagement and overseeing termination processes as needed.

General Administrative Support:

Assisting with employee time tracking, attendance, and expense reimbursements.

Handling phone calls, emails, and other office-related tasks.

Balancing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines effectively.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will bring:

Accounting Expertise:

o Knowledge of bookkeeping procedures, AP/AR, and reconciliations.

o Proficiency in QuickBooks (REQUIRED) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

o Familiarity with chart of accounts and QuickBooks reporting.

HR Knowledge:

o Experience in recruitment, performance management, and legal compliance.

Skills & Attributes:

o Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy.

o Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.

o Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

o Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounting or a similar role, preferably in the construction or landscaping industry.

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (60-minute lunch break)
