Sons & Fathers Remodeling is a family-owned residential remodeling company dedicated to delivering high-quality craftsmanship, safe job sites, and a positive client experience. We’re growing and looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support our field teams and owner in ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish.
Position Overview:
The Project Coordinator is a key support role, blending office organization, on-site coordination, and light sales/estimating responsibilities. You’ll assist the owner with procurement, scheduling, permitting, subcontractor management, and safety oversight—while also supporting sales and estimating by gathering pricing, helping with takeoffs, and preparing proposals. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement & Field Support
Order, track, and deliver materials to job sites
Submit receipts to the bookkeeper with proper coding
Communicate with vendors on lead times, delays, and deliveries
Support field crews with materials, tools, and jobsite logistics
Conduct jobsite walk-throughs for cleanliness, safety, and readiness
Confirm daily field progress and update the owner
Scheduling & Compliance
Assist with scheduling subcontractors, jobs, and inspections
Help prepare project files, specs, drawings, and client selections
Submit and track city/county permits and inspections
Onboard subcontractors and maintain insurance/COI records
Sales & Estimating Support
Work directly with the owner to prepare estimates and proposals
Gather vendor and subcontractor pricing for bids
Complete basic takeoffs and assist with plan reviews
Support client meetings and walkthroughs by taking notes and helping document scope
Assist in preparing and tracking change orders
Communication
Relay updates between office, field crews, subs, and clients
Help maintain a positive client experience by supporting clear communication
Schedule:
Part-time, Monday–Friday (20–25 hours per week, with occasional flexibility for jobsite or client needs)
Compensation & Benefits:
$25.00/hour, based on experience
Mileage reimbursement
