At Haute Plank you’ll have the chance to gain valuable Industry knowledge and learn the business of upscale hardwood flooring from industry experts. Your day will be full of variety in a fun environment…there is never a dull moment.
Location: On site
Hours: 32-40 hours/week
Hours of Operation: M-F, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Starting Pay Range: Compensatory with experience
Attire: Business Casual with Casual Fridays
REQUIREMENTS:
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, Google Suites
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
High school diplomas/GED
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Excellent Communication & Customer Service Skills
Showroom Staff Experience a PLUS
Excel/Google Sheet Experience
Flooring Experience Preferred
Plan/Design Reading Experience a PLUS
YOU’LL LOVE THIS JOB IF YOU ARE / HAVE:
Some education in a related subject, such as Interior Design.
Love being a highly resourceful team player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently.
Strong people and customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
High-level written and verbal communication skills.
High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Familiarity with Trello.
Demonstrated ability to achieve performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A forward thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Manage the day to day operations in a busy, upscale, trade-only hardwood flooring showroom including but not limited to:
Greet & assist clients in person and on the phone
Stock and track sample library inventory
Light housekeeping and organization
Confirm appointments and prepare for sales calls
Track incoming and outgoing deliveries when necessary
Light filing
Be a positive utility player!
