Position Summary:
The Lead Part-Time Key Carrier plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store. This individual will assist in overseeing daily store activities, maintain high standards of customer service, and support leadership in achieving business objectives. As a key holder, you will be entrusted with opening and closing the store, securing the premises, and providing leadership to fellow team members during shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Store Operations: Open and close the store according to established procedures, ensuring security and operational standards are met.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers, addressing their needs, and resolving any issues that arise during your shift.
Leadership: Assist in training and supervising part-time associates, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure adherence to store policies and procedures.
Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, including receiving and stocking merchandise, conducting regular counts, and maintaining store presentation.
Sales Support: Help drive sales by actively engaging with customers, promoting store promotions, and achieving individual and team sales goals.
Administrative Tasks: Handle basic administrative tasks such as cash handling, preparing shift reports, and performing routine clerical duties.
Health & Safety: Ensure the store environment is clean, organized, and safe for both customers and employees, following health and safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous retail experience preferred, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility: Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Technical Proficiency: Basic knowledge of retail management systems and proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift (Up to 50lbs) and carry merchandise, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks related to store operations.
