This position will be responsible for transactions relating to delivering and receiving parts to and from customers with appropriate paperwork. The Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver will also perform basic warehouse work of a routine nature such as placing received parts on shelves, removing sold parts from stock, processing items for shipment, etc.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Generate pick-tickets for orders to warehouse
Stage loading of trucks; load and/or unload trucks
Deliver parts to the customer while maintaining appropriate paper-work bearing customer’s signature
Pickup parts to be returned to the store with appropriate paperwork bearing signatures as required from customer
Inquire as to customer needs as related to additional sales, services, etc.
Collect money from customers and record transactions on customer receipt
Record sales and deliveries information on daily sales or delivery records
Maintain routine maintenance on truck and keep truck clean inside and out
Unpack received parts and place parts on proper shelves in proper place
Pick parts from pick-ticket and deliver to staging area
Stock and organize shelves and cores
Pack parts for shipping
Perform other assigned tasks/responsibilities, as needed
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Maintain valid driver’s license
Forklift certification desired, but not required; will train
One year of related experience is preferred
Display helpful, courteous attitude toward customers and co-workers
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to operate large pickup truck (3/4 ton) and pickup lift gate
Ability to lift in excess of 50 pounds
