Job Description:
We are seeking a hands-on, experienced technician to handle the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial door systems and gate automation. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with their hands, and providing top-notch service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation: Install new commercial door systems and gate automation, ensuring compliance with all safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on installed systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
Repair: Diagnose and repair issues with commercial doors and gate systems, both on-site and in the workshop.
Customer Service: Interact directly with clients, providing updates, and ensuring satisfaction with the service provided.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all jobs, including time, materials used, and services performed.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure work sites are left safe and tidy.
Requirements:
Proven experience in the installation and maintenance of commercial doors or similar mechanical systems.
Knowledge of electrical systems related to door and gate automation.
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance and repair.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (as travel between job sites is required).
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
Certification in relevant fields (e.g., gate operator installation) is a plus.
