Elemental Scientific, Inc. is looking to fill multiple Field Scientist positions in Phoenix, Arizona. Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field. Educational exposure or professional experience with chemical analysis instrument operation and method development with ICP-MS, GC-MS, IC, or related methodologies is required. The position also requires any amount of experience with instrument installation at customer sites.
The Field Scientist position is responsible for providing technical support and complete installations for automated chemical / testing systems. As needed, visit customer sites throughout the West Coast to provide technical support and complete installations for automated chemical / testing systems.
Job Duties:
Assist customers with installation, training, maintenance and field service of lab automation systems. Accessibility to be on-call for remote or onsite assistance to troubleshoot customer’s needs with ICP / ICPMS testing. Collaborate with customers to fine tune analytical testing methods and streamline laboratory workflow. Present marketing and new product information to customers at regional seminars and expos. Contribute technical knowledge for sales and marketing opportunities.
Travel incident to the occupation up to 10% of the time to customer locations throughout the West Coast based on business needs.
