Position: Lead Concierge

Job Description:
We are seeking a polished and professional Lead Concierge to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with exceptional customer service skills, keen attention to detail, and a proactive approach to ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for clients and visitors. The Lead Concierge will greet each customer as they enter the space, maintain a visible presence on the retail sales floor, manage scheduling and payroll for the on site concierge team, and report any concerns or observations to the security manager and security department, while directly reporting to the Director of Security.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Greeting: Warmly greet each customer and visitor upon entry, providing a welcoming and professional first impression.
Sales Floor Monitoring: Maintain a consistent and visible presence on the retail sales floor to observe and identify unusual or suspicious behavior, reporting findings to the security manager or department.
Incident Reporting: Report any safety concerns, suspicious activity, or policy violations to the security department promptly, ensuring timely resolution.
Customer Guidance: Direct clients and visitors to the appropriate retail sales employee for product-related inquiries or assistance. This position is not connected to a sales role and sales are not part of the position.
Scheduling and Payroll: Create and manage concierge team schedules for the concierge team, ensuring adequate coverage and submitting accurate payroll information in a timely manner.
Safety Oversight: Monitor public areas for potential hazards, ensuring spaces remain clear, orderly, and welcoming.
Team Collaboration: Partner with the security team and other staff members to maintain a safe and secure environment aligned with company standards.
Serve as a point of contact during emergencies, guiding clients and visitors in accordance with established protocols and reporting all actions to the Director of Security and security team.
Requirements:
Attire: Must own and wear a well-fitted dark-colored or black suit with a tie, presenting a polished and professional appearance at all times.
Experience: Prior supervisor experience in customer service, hospitality, or executive security is preferred, especially in high-end environments.
Physical Requirements: This is a standing position requiring the ability to stand, walk, and remain on your feet for extended periods. Candidates must also be able to lift up to 25 pounds, navigate stairs, etc.
Skills: Excellent interpersonal and observational skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Accountability: Ability to consistently follow established protocols and maintain accurate communication with security leadership.
Background Check: Successful completion of a background check is required prior to employment.
