Security Officer Job Responsibilities and Duties
Monitor security surveillance footage and keep an eye on visitors
Enforce company security policies and legal protocols
Patrol grounds, buildings, and other areas of responsibility
Respond to distress calls within the premises
Report adverse situations to the appropriate authorities when necessary
Maintain a daily log of irregular occurrences such as property damage, the entrance of unauthorized persons, and other unusual occurrences
Direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic
Ability to de-escalate situations as well as escalate when necessary
Remain cool and calm under pressure

Possession of a guard card is a plus (We will train and get you licensed; classes held Mon & Tue)

Requirements
Must be at least 21 years of age
No criminal record
Physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 100 lbs.
May need to walk or run
Must be available nights weekdays, and weekends
Must have reliable transportation
Well-trained in self-defense
Good knowledge of basic safety and security protocols
First aid certification
Attentive, observant, and alert
Critical thinker and has problem-solving skills
