Roofing & Windows Retail Sales Manager – Sparx Solar (California + Midwest Expansion)
Sparx Solar is a rapidly growing residential solar company with massive demand for roofing and window upgrades tied to our solar installations. We’re building a dedicated in-home retail sales division for roofing & windows and need a proven leader to own it from day one.
The Role:
Start immediately managing one dedicated roofing/windows retail sales specialist (direct-hire, full-time rep focused exclusively on roofing + window upgrades).
Your job is to coach, ride along, recruit, train, and scale: within 6–12 months you’ll grow this into a multi-rep team as we expand across California and launch the Midwest in Q1 2026.
Set sales targets, refine the pitch, run daily huddles, review deals, and ensure every solar customer who needs a roof or windows gets presented and closed at a high level.
Work hand-in-hand with our solar sales and installation teams to maximize attachment rates and customer satisfaction.
Build and own the processes, comp plans, and culture of the roofing/windows retail sales division.
Requirements:
5+ years of successful in-home retail sales experience in roofing, windows, or home improvement (you’ve personally closed $1M+ years)
2+ years managing or mentoring retail/in-home sales reps with proven results
Deep product knowledge of roofing (comp, tile, metal, TPO, torch-down) and window replacement
Track record of scaling teams and hitting aggressive growth numbers
Clean driving record and reliable vehicle (mileage, tolls, and all travel reimbursed)
Willing and able to travel extensively throughout California now, and seasonally to the Midwest starting Q1 2026 (all expenses paid + per diem)
Compensation & Benefits:
Uncapped overrides and team bonuses – top performers clear $200k–$300k+
Quarterly growth bonuses as you add and scale reps
Company vehicle + fuel card option after 90 days
