As a part of our Sales and Design team you will have the opportunity to make a living by Designing and Selling gorgeous kitchens and bathrooms at the lowest prices in Phoenix. For many customers this is a life enhancing experience which is extremely rewarding and fun. In addition this position pays very well and does not sacrifice home life. We are CLOSED on Sundays and only open for 5 hours on Saturdays plus one Saturday a month you will be off.
Position Summary: We are looking for COMPETITIVE individuals who are SELF MOTIVATED and strive to do their best in everything that they do. Past experience in the kitchen and bath industry is helpful but not a requirement. We have a proven track record in training motivated individuals to become sales professionals at our stores particularly those who are not afraid to excel. Diamond Kitchen and Bath's sales staff meet with customers at our showrooms and assist customers through the kitchen and bath remodel process by
designing with our 3D design software. We also sell countertops, installations and accessories.
Qualifications: We are looking for positive, competitive professionals who like being financially rewarded for the effort that they put into their job. Ultimately, if you possess these qualities then you are a fit for the job however the following list are qualities found in those who have succeeded at this position
1. Computer Literate - a large part of this job is spent on a piece of computer software called 2020 Design which we will train you how to use.
2. Informative and Outgoing - The candidate must enjoy working with people and have good verbal and written skills to communicate effectively with customers.
3. The candidate will preferably be a high school graduate. Weight will be given to those with college experience as well.
4. Prior sales OR construction experience is beneficial but not required.
5. Ability to quickly add and subtract are beneficial but not required
6. Spanish speaking is a bonus
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Be in attendance at the showroom during store hours in order to meet and assist customers in the design and sales process, answer the telephone, and keep up the showroom appearance. Normal schedule is 4 weekdays and Saturday. Total required hours in the showroom a week is 37 hours plus 1 week a month you will have a Saturday OFF. That week is 32 hours in the showroom.
2. Design, measure and sell kitchens and bathrooms plus complete the paperwork to further the sale and follow up with customers. These tasks usually add another 3-10 hours to the work week depending on how much you sell.
3. Attend monthly sales meeting and train with other sales staff to enhance knowledge about kitchen and bathroom cabinetry and related products and services.
4. A positive attitude and a readiness to learn and make money
Remuneration: This is a sales position and pays a minimum salary of $2500/month plus commissions in excess of that amount. The majority of our sales staff have incomes in the 60-70k range however the top performers are considerably higher in excess of $150,000.
