Motor City Rental & Sales is the exclusive Dealer of New Hyundai & Mustang Construction Equipment. In addition we represent Manitou Forklifts, Wacker-Neuson, Multiquip, Boxer, Morbark, Genie, JLG, Used Equipment, and many other products. The Outside Sales Representative reports to the Branch Manager and is responsible for generating revenue in retail of new & used equipment sales within the assigned territory.
Job Requirements:
Prefer previous outside rental or retail sales experience
Must be people-oriented, aggressive, sales driven and a team player
Must be exceptionally self-disciplined, self-starter, self-motivated
Possess excellent customer service skills
Maintain a professional business appearance at all times
Must be able to build prospects and business relationships
Cold-calling and jobsite calls are required
Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite, smartphones, and tablets
Previous experience of preparing professional sales presentations and quotes
A high school diploma is required, college degree preferred.
Must be able to sell 2-4 machines a month within the first 60 days.
Must complete weekly sales reports, call reports, and sales forecasts
Must have a valid and clean driving record
2 years of business to business sales experience in Construction Equipment and/ or Construction related field is preferred
Previous experience working in the construction equipment industry is beneficial
The ideal candidate will not be a party to any agreements that restrict their ability to perform work for Motor City Rental & Sales in the assigned territory.
