The Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include client prospecting, rapidly building a sales pipeline, and meeting a quarterly sales target across defined territory. Sales Rep will be required to deliver client presentations to agencies, end users, and specifiers, develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure successful closing.
Sales Rep must be self-directed and independent, comfortable in a construction environment, and capable of driving sales from initial cold-call through contract execution. The Sales Rep is expected to understand and articulate the Company value proposition to the customer community.
Complete required reporting, i.e. Sales Log, Detailed Monthly Forecast, Contact Management / CRM Software, Special Accounts Reports, etc…
The Accountabilities:
Proactively prospect, qualify, and grow a regional account list
Client prospecting & cold-calling, successful client presentations, proposal development, contract negotiation & execution
Build effective working relationship with Company team
Develop and cultivate long-term relationships with senior client personnel
Engage and strategize with client companies and agencies to demonstrate how the Company. can deliver value & performance.
Prepare complete customer quotes
Take-off and bidding of public / private projects
Interact effectively with Company Operations with regard to special orders, drop / direct ship orders, and delivery schedule when necessary.
Identify and understand trends within client markets and industries
Meet sales targets
Attend and participate in trade show events when needed
