Job Title : Data Entry Clerk
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85007 Duration: 4 Months
We are seeking a dedicated, organized Data Entry Clerk to help us transfer large volumes of information into our Records Storage database and update our SharePoint Records Management system with current data. You must be detail-oriented and review the data for errors before inputting them into the system. We expect you to work efficiently and transfer data as quickly and accurately as possible. We prefer candidates who have data entry experience and an understanding of records retention schedules, but we are willing to train the right person. You will report directly to the Records Center Manager or another senior records team member.
Data Entry Clerk Duties and Responsibilities
Transfer data from various sources into the record storage and Records Management Center database
Update databases or records with new information as it becomes available
Correct and modify inaccurate files and records
Comply with data integrity and security policies
Organize paper formats, paper backups, and material source files as needed
Prepare paper format files to be transferred to off-site storage facility.
Keep information confidential
Research and obtain further information for incomplete data or documents
Data Entry Clerk Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in data entry or equivalent experience in a related field a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Google applications
Able to quickly and accurately type and enter data; knowledge of touch-typing system preferred
Attention to detail
Above average to excellent knowledge of correct grammar and punctuation
Excellent communication and organizational skills
