I am looking for a Full or Part-time stylist to work in my Chandler salon. I am looking to build my core team with someone that wants to work in a busy salon and build a great clientele!
A hair stylist provides haircuts, color services, shampoo therapy, styling and other services to women, men and children under leaderships direct supervision. Stylists deliver all services with an emphasis on providing an excellent experience and building a strong base of return guests. Stylists are expected to follow all salon policies and procedures.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old to apply.
Stylists perform the following Essential functions: Provide Fantastic Guest Service
¤ Acknowledge and greet all guests in a friendly, prompt and courteous manner
¤ Provide thorough consultations to determine needs and provide solutions
¤ Integrate product recommendations and retail sales into each service
Uphold Excellence Standards
¤ Adhere to the salon dress code, including appearance standards for hair and makeup
¤ Demonstrate professionalism in behavior and interactions with others at all times
¤ Keep workstation and salon tidy and in compliance with salon specs at all times
¤ Maintain standards for growing a profitable salon and reducing waste
Be a Collaborative Team Member
¤ Attend all required education events and workshops
¤ Complete assigned housekeeping duties; including, but not limited to stocking and cleaning
¤ Work with others in a positive, respectful and cooperative mindset
¤ Participate in the salon and team-related activities and events
Required Experience:
¤ A cosmetology certification with no relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
¤ Cosmetology license
¤ Proficiency in the latest color, cutting, and styling techniques
¤ Proficiency in the use of equipment needed to perform technical services
¤ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
¤ Ability to build and maintain strong guest relationships
Additional Requirements:
¤ On a regular basis requires the ability to walk, reach with hands and arms
¤ On a regular basis requires the ability to stand for a minimum of 4 hours
¤ On a regular basis requires the ability to lift +/- 10lbs
