A+ Staffing is hiring Hair Stylists for the Braid Bar at Every Woman's Marathon and Wellness Expo on Friday, November 14th and Saturday, November 15th.
Event attendees will be able to choose from a menu of braids and styles and will choose from a variety of colored tinsel, hair ties and accessories. The stylist will create the braid or style of the guests choosing (approximately 10-15 minutes per hair style - no cutting).
Stylists must be able to work with all hair types. This event celebrates women and diversity, so we are seeking to hire a diverse group of women in these roles.
All supplies will be provided - various combs, brushes, hair products, mirrors, director height chairs, etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
Valid and active Cosmetology license
Experience in handling all hair types and lengths
Ability to provide inclusive and diverse hair styling services
Submission of a portfolio or examples of previous work
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Flexibility to handle unexpected situations or last-minute changes
DATES/TIMES: Friday, November 14th - 2pm-6:30pm and Saturday, November 15th - 8:30AM-5:30PM
VIRTUAL TRAINING: A one-hour virtual training and orientation will be scheduled the week of the event.
Location: Scottsdale Civic Center
Pay: $80.00 per hour (This is a W2 position – must fulfill I-9 requirements)
