32nd Street Salon is looking for a full-time licensed cosmetologist or licensed hair stylist to perform hair styling services at our increasingly busy salon. We are looking for cosmetologists for the waxing skills that license certifies (chin, eyebrows, upper lip).
We use matrix products. Please be local, and exceptional at color, highlights/lowlights, and be willing to do perms. (We do not get many of them, thankfully, but I hate sending money away.) Lastly, be focused on customer-service. Our business is built on giving the customer exactly what THEY want. We care about each of our customers like friends and expect any new stylist to do the same.
Pay is hourly starting at $18 based on experience. Tips are handed out at the end of each shift. If you do not have a portfolio of work to share at an in-person interview be prepared to demonstrate either color or highlights. Willing to discuss commission or booth rental if you are bringing along your own clients.
