Job overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Robotic Installation and Service Technician. This role involves traveling to various places across the U.S to install, set up, and train clients on proper service and maintenance of robots. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, the ability to work independently, and a passion for robotics and technology.
Key responsibilities
Travel to various locations to perform robotic installations, system integrations, and troubleshooting. Overnight traveling is required and employees should expect to be out of town for 4-7 days for an installation.
Train clients on the proper use and maintenance of robotic systems
Maintain clear and detailed reports of installations, service calls, and any issues encountered during the process.
Conduct thorough system diagnostics to identify and resolve issues with robotic systems.
Provide on-site technical support and assist with system troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during installations.
Collaborate with the project management and engineering teams to ensure installations meet customer requirements and specifications.
Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies for installation projects.
Represent the company with professionalism and enthusiasm at all times.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of robotic systems, automation, and electrical components.
Comfortable with hands-on work, including electrical wiring, mechanical assembly, and software configuration.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physically able to spend extensive time on feet.
