Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Appliance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in appliance repair, electrical and mechanical systems, and HVAC knowledge. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various household appliances, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. The Appliance Technician will also be responsible for delivering appliances when necessary and providing exceptional customer service during all interactions.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and troubleshoot appliance issues to determine the appropriate repair solutions.
Perform repairs on a wide range of appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and other major appliance units.
Assemble and install new appliances as required, ensuring proper functionality.
Utilize schematics and technical manuals to guide repairs and installations.
Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair processes and appliance maintenance tips.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Assist with the delivery of appliances using a box truck when needed.
Requirements
Proven experience in appliance repair or related field is preferred.
Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics.
Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
Ability to perform equipment repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for delivery responsibilities.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers.
Willingness to learn new techniques and stay updated on industry advancements.
