Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and restoration, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. This role involves working on various vehicles, performing repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service.
Responsibilities
Perform auto body repairs, including frame straightening, panel replacement, and painting.
Utilize MIG welding techniques for structural repairs and fabrication tasks.
Conduct vehicle maintenance and detailing to ensure optimal performance and appearance.
Use hand tools, power tools, and airless paint spraying equipment effectively.
Execute auto glass replacement and repair as needed.
Provide accurate auto estimating for repair costs to customers.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.
Assist in the assembly of vehicle components and perform mechanical repairs as required.
Engage in heavy lifting and moving of vehicle parts during the repair process.
Experience
Previous body shop experience is preferred.
Proficiency in MIG welding, fabrication, and sheet metal work is essential.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and restoration.
Familiarity with soldering techniques and auto painting processes is advantageous.
Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
