Vintage Iron and Restoration is looking for an experienced Automotive Restoration Technician with specific experience as a welder / fabricator, to join our team. We run a super clean and air conditioned shop with upscale cars and customers that expect a high level of professionalism.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Self-motivated and goal-oriented individual with a strong welding and fabricating background
1 year welding with automotive repair experience required
Must be able to fully disassemble and reassemble classic American vehicles (typically 1950-1979)
Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, bending, cut off saws, and grinders
Ability to shape and finish metal
Must provide your own metal working tools and other automotive tools (MIG and TIG welder provided)
Self-motivated with the ability to learn, take direction and ask questions
Team player who can maintain a positive attitude with the ability to recover quickly from setbacks
Dependable and driven personality – looking for someone with a great work ethic
Strong time management skills
Ability to multitask and be detail oriented is a must
Basic computer and internet proficiency
Must have clean and valid driver's license
High school diploma or equivalent (Automotive secondary school is a bonus)

Inspect and diagnose issues correctly
Perform work as specified on the work order
This is a full-time position, M-F from 6:00am to 3:00pm with occasional overtime opportunities.
