Vintage Iron and Restoration is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. We run a super clean and air conditioned shop with upscale cars and customers that expect a high level of professionalism.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Self-motivated and goal-oriented individual with a strong automotive background
2 years automotive repair experience (or equivalent education) required – (Vintage/Classic cars preferred)
Ability to repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
Must provide your own tools necessary to diagnose and repair issues
Ability to learn, take direction and ask questions
Team player who can maintain a positive attitude with the ability to recover quickly from setbacks
Dependable and driven personality – looking for someone with a great work ethic
Strong time management skills
Ability to multitask and be detail oriented is a must
Basic computer and internet proficiency
Must have clean and valid driver's license
High school diploma or equivalent (Automotive secondary school is a bonus)
ASE or equivalent brand certifications are a plus
Our Expectations:
Show up on time and ready to work
Inspect and diagnose issues correctly
Test automotive components and systems to properly diagnose issues
Perform work as specified on the work order
Test drive vehicles in a professional manner
This is a full-time position, M-F from 6:00am to 3:00pm with occasional overtime opportunities.
