Job Description:
As an Irrigation Technician, you will play a vital role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. You will work closely with our team to ensure efficient water management practices and contribute to the health and beauty of our landscapes.
Hours: 5:30am- (1-5pm)
Arrive to Chips at 5:30am to prep for day, arrive at first job by 7-7:15am.
Day Rate: $180-$220 (Depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Install and maintain various types of irrigation systems, including drip, sprinkler, and surface systems.
Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of existing irrigation systems.
Perform repairs and replacements of damaged components as needed.
Adjust irrigation schedules based on weather conditions and plant needs.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects on time.
Maintain accurate records of services performed and materials used.
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Truck will be provided andreturned to Chips Tree Service Daily.
Speaks English (you will be on job sites by yourself & communication to client is necessary).
Works well unsupervised.
2-3 years of previous experience in irrigation installation and maintenance preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of irrigation systems, water conservation practices, and landscaping principles.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
