We’re looking for a full-time Electrical Estimator with a minimum of 5 years of commercial/industrial electrical estimating experience.
Applicants must have abilities in reading and interpreting electrical plans and specifications with knowledge of the NFPA codes, understanding of current electrical codes and installation methods, and be well-versed in the installation of power systems.
Qualifications
5+ years related experience and/or training
Microsoft Office experience and demonstrated ability on the creation of custom spreadsheets
knowledge and ability with materials costs and discounts
Increasing knowledge of NEC Code and understanding of how to apply
knowledge and ability to compute electrical construction materials and installation methods
knowledge and ability to read construction drawings
knowledge and ability to take an estimate from beginning to end
Ability to commit to and meet deadlines
knowledge and ability to forecast project costs, working under immediate supervision
Increasing knowledge and ability to manage multiple job tasks simultaneously
Very good organizational and communication skills
Working knowledge of electrical installation, estimating techniques, and cost control
Codes all job costs accurately and thoroughly
