Peter Thomas Designs is a high-end custom furniture manufacturer located in South Phoenix near the Sky Harbor Airport. We are seeking someone to join our growing team of highly skilled craftsmen/woodworkers. We have a 15,000 sq ft shop complete with every woodworking, welding and finishing tool needed to build one-of-a-kind, beautiful furniture.
Skills and qualities from successful candidates will include:
Years of experience as a craftsman/woodworker (pictures of previous projects help!)
Experience working with shop equipment
Experience working with different wood species (walnut, white oak, etc…)
Willingness to learn from the best! Some of our craftsmen have 30+ years experience in building high end furniture
Maintaining a clean and organized work bench
Self-motivated, great work ethic, positive attitude
Able to read and interpret shop drawings
Ability to lift 50+ lbs
Position Details
Full-time
Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
Compensation:
Hourly pay is based on experience and ranges from $22-$30/hr. Opportunity to advance quickly.
