Looking for a hard worker to perform janitorial duties for our company ServiceLink Commercial. We are a full service commercial property maintenance company and are looking for a reliable and upbeat employee! The position is located in Phoenix off of Bell and the I-17. This position is at located at one building for 40 hours per week. Day Porter will work closely with onsite building engineer to ensure property is always looking its best and assist in special projects as directed by onsite engineer.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Inspection of Restrooms & Kitchens
1. Walk thru men & women restrooms observing lights, any damage to restroom walls, ceiling floors, toilets, sinks or dispensers.
2. Check bio dispensers (women) trash containers for excessive trash.
3. Replace toilet paper, paper towels and bio bags if needed.
4. Clean any dirty toilets, urinals, floors or sinks if needed.
5. Ensure that kitchen trash containers are no more than ½ full & fill paper towel dispensers if needed.
6. Review and clean if needed; stairways, lobby tables, windows, floors, meeting office.
Exterior Perimeter
1. Sweep & pick up trash & cigarette buts from the ground, trash container areas and compacter.
2. Keep cobwebs clean from trash.
3. Empty garbage containers located in front & rear entrances, smoking area, and entrance to the dock.
4. Remove trash from lawn, all tree & dirt areas near & around parking area.
5. Remove trash & cigarette buts from all plant locations.
6. Pick up trash & cigarette buts from parking lots.
Unoccupied Restroom & Construction Area
1. Wipe down counters, sinks, urinals & toilets in construction area (STE 280).
2. Sweep & mop floors.
3. Empty trash & bio bag containers.
4. Replace empty paper towel & toilet paper dispensers.
Maintenance of Restrooms & Kitchen
1. Wipe down counters, sinks, urinals, toilets & clean mirrors.
2. Sweep & mop floors.
3. Empty trash & bio bag containers.
4. Fill toilet paper & paper towel dispensers where it is needed.
Answer all calls for immediate cleanup, supplies on demand. Forward all requested or observed needed repairs or replacements unable to personally perform.
-Must be able to work independently & be effective problem solver.
-Must have a service mindset with attention to detail - every job, every time
-Able to lift/carry 40 lbs.
-Typical work hours are M-F 8:00pm 5:00pm with 1 hour lunch
