We are looking to hire an experienced dry cleaner / pants presser at our dry cleaners in Tatum Ranch. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience as a dry cleaner, is reliable and has a strong attention to detail. The candidate should be able to operate all equipment, properly sort dry cleaning, wet cleaning and laundry items, identify and spot clean stains, and press pants to our quality standards. We offer paid vacation after a year of employment, paid holidays, and some free weekly dry cleaning items. Excellent pay is negotiable depending on experience. Duties
Open the store and start all equipment in the morning
Properly sort items for dry cleaning, wet cleaning and laundry
Identify and spot clean or pretreat any stains as needed
Clean garments using the best method after examination
Inspect items after cleaning for imperfections and distribute to proper pressing station for finishing
Press pants and shorts to company standards
Maintain a clean working area
Shut down all equipment at end of day
Experience
Minimum 5 years experience as a dry cleaner / spotter
Understanding of when to use dry cleaning vs wet cleaning vs laundry
Can demonstrate efficiency on the spotting board
Must be knowledgeable in how to properly operate and maintain the dry cleaning machine and boiler
Experience in pressing pants or other garments
