As a key part of their finishing-trim team, you’ll help bring that reputation to life.
Responsibilities:
Measure, cut, fit, and install interior trim, moldings, casing, baseboards, crown, wainscoting, and custom millwork to meet Nexstar’s high-quality standards.
Install doors and windows, ensuring perfect alignment, smooth operation, and clean finishing.
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications specific to premium homes.
Work closely with project superintendents and other trades to coordinate finish work in a custom/residential setting.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while delivering on schedule.
Ensure all finish details — joints, miters, reveals, transitions — are executed with precision and polished appearance.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of finish-carpentry or high-end trim installation experience in residential construction.
Proven ability to work to tight tolerances, deliver clean lines, miters, and top-tier finish quality.
Skilled with hand tools and power tools (miter saw, jigsaws, routers, nailer's, etc.).
Self-motivated, reliable, can work independently and in a team environment.
Reliable transportation and full set of basic finish-carpentry tools.
