Position: Fleet Mechanic
Must have small gear repair experience, preferably rental equipment.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet of equipment, including diesel engines, trailers, dump trailers, skid steers, 2-cycle engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and fabrication.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently.
Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the fleet.
Collaborate with the operations team to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and parts inventory.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Fleet Mechanic, preferably in a similar industry.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems.
Strong knowledge of 2-cycle engines and various equipment types.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
