Pawgo is revolutionizing the mobile grooming space by providing pet stylists access to fully equipped mobile grooming units. We operate over 50 mobile grooming vans supporting over 75 groomers across five states. Our fleet primarily consists of Ford Transits, Dodge Promasters, and Mercedes Sprinters.
We are looking for a fleet mechanic to service and maintain our fleet of about 35 mobile grooming vans across Phoenix, Arizona.
Responsibilities:
Complete all preventative maintenance on the fleet
Complete all corrective maintenance for issues that happen with the fleet
Respond to vehicle breakdowns that happen in the field
Perform vehicle inspections and report paperwork to necessary parties
Ability to respond fast to fleet issues and fix minor repairs on site. Access to a vehicle will be provided.
Help with variety of issues that could happen to groomers vehicles (water pump, water heater, A/C)
Provide vehicle assistance to groomers who call in with issues
Create a network of shops/mechanics across our markets to better support
Mechanic will have access to a shop close to the office (Garaged High Bay Storage Place to store tools etc)
Required Qualities:
Must have a customer facing friendly attitude and the ability to interact with drivers in a friendly polite manner in stressful situations.
This person must have really the ability to defuse stressful situations and have emotional intelligence.
Ideal for a person who wants to do mechanical work but also be part of a professiona startup company type of culture.
Mechanic will have access to a shop close to the office (Garaged High Bay Storage Place to store tools etc)
This job will require services to be done around drivers schedules and so the person should be flexible in their outlook.
For example, if a job say requires to be done after hours, this person will be given the flexibility to perhaps leave early on a different day and so on and so forth.
Ability to manage calendar is important. (We are our own fleet management system and you will have access to our app)
Desired Skills:
Comfortable working Ford Transits, Ford E350's, Dodge Promasters, and Mercedes Sprinters
Mechanical Aptitude and ability to work with & troubleshoot equipment
ASE/EVT Certifications strongly preferred
Must have a full set of personal tools necessary to complete automotive maintenance.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
