We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Superintendent to oversee and manage field operations, who is looking to build a long-term career. The ideal candidate will possess experience in the roadway electrical field, full understanding of the construction process, project management skills, and strong leadership and communication skills. This position is located at: 1830 W. Broadway Rd., Mesa, AZ 85202.

Responsibilities include:
Oversee field project foreman and their crews
Oversight of Project Management including scheduling and planning, blue stakes, manpower, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and project changes
Identify and plan for long lead items
Cost estimates for change orders
Work with the field foremen to develop the work schedule, traffic control requirements, and subcontractor coordination
Work with the Estimator (Vice-President) to assist with labor and material estimates, submittals, and traffic control estimates
Review plans with field foreman and address any project issues with RFI’s to the General Contractor and / or owner
Attend Project Meetings with Field Foreman, General Contractor and / or Owner
Report to Vice-President any project issues or conflicts
Oversee project closeout and help to prepare any required documents
Plan ahead to keep field crews on schedule and work week filled
Keep in contact with our Risk Management company for Safety and OSHA regulation updates, relay the same to the field foreman
Skills:
Knowledge of Traffic Signals & Street Lighting Installation
Ability to review and understand project plans sheets, specifications, and other project related documentation
Planning and Scheduling for multiple projects, maintaining organization for all
Ability to supervise all field employees
Capability to communicate with project owners, general contractors, inspectors, vendors, and subcontractors
Understanding of construction equipment
IMSA Traffic Signal Certifications
General knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Preferred but not required: Experience with HCSS Estimating and Primavera Scheduling Software Programs
Requirements:
Possess and maintain valid AZ driver’s license with a clean MVR
