At Atlas Roofing and Waterproofing, Inc., we provide top-quality roofing services and exceptional customer care across the entire state of Arizona. We are expanding our Service Department and looking for experienced, detail-oriented roofers to join our team.
Job Summary:
Atlas Roofing is seeking experienced Service Department Roofer Technician. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with roof repairs and maintenance, be committed to safety and quality, and enjoy providing excellent customer service. This role focuses on diagnosing roof issues, determine materials needed for repairs, performing the work, and ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining high standards
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Roof Inspection & Assessment
Inspect roofs to identify leaks, damages, and maintenance needs.
Document findings and provide professional repair recommendations.
Determine materials required and estimate time needed to complete repairs
2. Repair & Maintenance Work
Perform roof repairs, including patching leaks and replacing damaged shingles, tiles, or panels.
Conduct preventative maintenance to extend roof life and maintain manufacturer warranties.
Work with TPO, PVC, EPDM, BUR, Modified Bitumen, roof coatings, shingles, tile, slate, and metal systems.
3. Flexible Work Support
Be available to respond to service requests, which may occasionally require weekend work.
Adapt to varying schedules as required by workload and client needs.
Be willing to travel to job sites across the state.
Work occasional overtime as needed to meet project deadlines or emergency service calls.
4. Customer Service & Communication
Communicate clearly with clients about repair needs, timelines.
Maintain professional and courteous approach at all times.
5. Safety & Compliance
Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
Use safety equipment, harnesses, and tools properly at all times.
6. Documentation & Reporting
Complete service reports and work orders accurately.
Track materials used and report supply needs.
7. Team Collaboration
Work with other service technicians, service manager, and project managers to complete jobs efficiently.
Assist in training junior team members when needed.
Qualifications:
3–5 years of hands-on roofing experience.
Knowledge of various roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, shingle, metal, tile).
Ability to work at heights and in different weather conditions.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license
OSHA or safety certification preferred but not required.
