Job Title: Commercial HVAC Technician/Installer
Location: central Phoenix, East valley
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial settings. As a key part of our team, you will ensure that HVAC systems are operating efficiently and effectively to provide optimal comfort and air quality for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heating, and ventilation units.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems and perform necessary repairs.
Perform regular maintenance tasks, including filter changes, cleaning coils, and checking refrigerant levels.
Ensure compliance with local and federal regulations and safety standards.
Respond to emergency repair calls and service requests promptly.
Communicate effectively with clients to provide detailed explanations of services, system performance, and repair requirements.
Keep accurate records of service calls, repairs, maintenance, and installations.
Collaborate with team members and assist with training of junior technicians when necessary.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Keep up-to-date with the latest HVAC technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in HVAC preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience working with commercial HVAC systems.
Strong knowledge of HVAC components, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
Valid HVAC technician license (depending on state/city regulations).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in various environments.
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with advanced HVAC systems such as VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) or BMS (Building Management Systems).
EPA Certification for refrigerant handling.
