Arizona Specialty Demolition is seeking a highly motivated and reliable Demolition Site Crew Member to join our growing team.
Responsibilities:
Maintain clear and consistent radio communication with equipment operators, ensuring safe maneuvering around obstacles and blind spots.
Assist operators with dust control measures, including operating a fire hose in compliance with Maricopa County Air Quality Department regulations.
Perform manual demolition tasks, including handpicking, shoveling, and raking debris in hard-to-reach areas or those not collected by machinery.
Signal semi-truck traffic entering and exiting the site, ensuring safe and efficient flow.
Assist heavy equipment operators with daily equipment inspections (machines, excavators, etc.) and routine mechanical services (re-fueling, greasing, air filter & AC filter replacements).
Monitor and prevent "track-out" of dirt, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining clean roadways as machinery and trucks exit the site.
Qualifications:
Motivated and self-directed individual with a positive attitude.
Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
Ability to work across various valley locations, including occasional travel to Prescott, Tucson, Flagstaff, etc.
Respectful and courteous demeanor towards colleagues and superiors.
Willingness to cross-train in additional duties, such as skid steer, water truck, and mini X operation (a plus).
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with operating water trucks.
Possession of a 310 Dust certificate.
Compensation:
Starting rate of $18 per hour, negotiable based on experience (DOE).
